Lone Tree Mountain

Description:

Plate 1417X. Lone Tree Mountain 1906 – 2006 Viewed east-southeast to Lone Tree Mountain from Cedar City, Utah. Buildings now surround the original camera station, so the retake was made from the nearest open area on 820 south across from Sunset Drive. Pinyon and juniper have increased, as have oakbrush, conifers, and mountain brush species in the distance. Aspen has declined.
