Last Chance Canyon

Plate 1353X. Last Chance Canyon 1920 – 2006 Viewed northeast up Last Chance Canyon in Cedar Canyon east of Cedar City. This once was the main road up Cedar Canyon but Utah Highway 14 has been realigned, widened, and paved to the south of the camera station. The foreground has been disturbed by construction, as has the woody riparian vegetation along Coal Creek - - photo right. In the distance, pinyon, juniper, conifers, oakbrush, and mountain brush have all increased.
