Description:
Plate 869X. Kanab Creek 1932 – 2005 Viewed northeast up Kanab Creek. Willows and cottonwoods have increased, as have pinyon, juniper, oakbrush, skunkbrush, sagebrush, and rubber rabbitbrush. Russian olive and tamarisk can also be found along the creek. The active stream channel has narrowed and is more stable today than it was in the past.
