Plate 302. INDIAN SPRINGS PAVANT MOUNTAINS 1963-2000 Viewed west-northwest from the road to the old Indian Springs Guard Station (see Plate 303). Aspen has increased in height but most stands have failed to regenerate due to excessive browsing. Snowberry and big sage are the two most common shrubs. Conifers have increased.
