Plate 986X. Ikes Valley Reservoir 1958 – 2005 Viewed southeast to the reservoir at the head of Ikes Valley. The area around the pond has been treated and is mostly smooth brome and Kentucky bluegrass with some native Stipa spp. In the distance, ponderosa pine, juniper, oakbrush, Utah serviceberry, snowberry, currant, and squaw apple have all increased. The site was actively being grazed by sheep in 2005.
