In the distance is the town of Hurricane (photo-center), which has increased in size - - also see Plate 664x. Pinyon and juniper have increased, especially in the right foreground. Other woody species include live oak (Quercus turbinella), singleleaf ash (Fraxinus anomala), Mormon tea, desert olive (Forestiera neomexicana), snakeweed, and indigo bush.
