Plate 664X. Hurricane, Utah 1920 – 2004 Viewed northwest from the top of Hurricane Cliffs to Hurricane, Utah. The Pine Valley Mountains are in the distance. Agricultural areas have declined as the city has expanded. Although difficult to see, pinyon, juniper, and mountain brush have increased along the base of the Pine Valley Mountains. The Virgin River is hidden from view in a canyon just beyond the townsite.
