Plate 221X. East Fork of the Sevier River 1963 - 2003 Viewed north-northwest on the East Fork of the Sevier River between Dairy Hollow and the Podunk Guard Station. The area in the foreground has been contour-trenched and reseeded with smooth brome and intermediate wheatgrass to control soil erosion. Aspen has declined, while ponderosa pine and juniper have increased. Retakes from this camera station were also made by the Forest Service in 1983 and 2000.
