East Entrance

Description:

Plate 1169X. East Entrance 1930 – 2006 Viewed southwest to Zion National Park’s East Entrance. The original photograph was taken as the entrance station was being built. Ponderosa pine, pinyon, juniper, oakbrush, and Utah serviceberry have all increased, as have forest fuels.
