Description:

Plate 521X. Dunhan Wash 1940 – 2004 Viewed southeast down Dunhan Wash to the Findlay Ranch at the head of Deer Spring Wash. Seen in the distance are the White Cliffs. The county road has been realigned and widened. Pinyon and juniper have increased except where they have been treated. Utah serviceberry, oakbrush, mountain big sage, and birchleaf mountain mahogany have also increased. The bottoms have been root-plowed and reseeded with crested wheatgrass to improve range conditions. Arroyos appear to have widened and deepened.
