Description:
Plate 591X. Duck Lake 1941 – 2004 Viewed northeast to Duck Lake on the Dixie National Forest. The dam on the outlet has been rebuilt, which has raised the water level. Conifers, primarily spruce, white fir, and ponderosa pine have increased, while aspen has declined. The area is not grazed by livestock, as it is a major recreation area.
