Utah's Rural Rangelands

Changes in Utah's rangelands over time

Rural Rangelands Archives is a resource where the public and land managers can see the dynamic nature of our rangeland systems. The dynamic nature can be seen from repeated photographs over time through a searchable database. This website provides a list of sites that are considered to be important reference areas in the State of Utah and is designed to create public interest in monitoring and protecting Utah's rangeland resources.

Take a photographic journey of Utah's range and forest lands through time, search the archives of 1571 pairs of repeat photos, or find exclosures by county.
