Lesson Format
This curriculum focuses on experiential learning among youth through short lessons and longer educational game sessions. In each 50-minute lesson, teaching and evaluation each spans 10 minutes, and learning is reinforced through up to 30 minutes of fun and versatile educational games. Classroom setting can be as simple as under the shades of a tree or a building outdoor. Teaching contents are written in short, simple bullets format to encourage peer education by trained youth leaders. Evaluation tools in the curriculum closely relate to teaching contents and learning objectives. Educators also have the flexibility of mixing and matching different components of a lesson, depending on available class time.
