Greenseeker and spectoradiometer being used in a wheat fieldThe purpose of the Utah Geospatial Extension Program (UGEP) is to provide farmers, foresters, land use planners, and other users throughout the state with data, tools and expertise to effectively employ geospatial information technologies. Furthermore, the program fulfills a mandate to educate, encourage research, develop partnerships, and provide service to the public in the geospatial technology arena.
