Jr. Livestock
Exhibiting in the county and state fair is an important highlight of a club member's 4-H experience. Morgan County 4-H club members are eligible to exhibit in the Morgan County Fair, which is held in July/August each year.
Junior Livestock Show: FFA and 4-H youth must be in at least 3rd grade and 8 years old as of October 1st of the current 4-H year to be eligible to participate in a junior livestock project (beef, sheep or swine) and meet registration/tagging deadlines to show at the Morgan County Fair.
4-H Horse Show: 4-H youth must be in at least 3rd grade and 8 years old as of October 1st of the current 4-H year and be enrolled in the horse project to be eligible to participate in a 4-H horse project and meet registration deadlines to show at the Morgan County Fair.
Goat, Rabbit, Pigeon and Poultry Shows: The goat, rabbit, pigeon, and poultry shows are open shows, rather than 4-H shows. Any Morgan County resident is eligible to participate. Youth interested in participating in these shows need to submit the entry form (see fair book for additional information) by the deadline announced.
Indoor 4-H Exhibits (non animal exhibits): 4-H’ers in 3-12 grades are eligible to enter indoor exhibits in the Morgan County Fair. The entry deadline for 4-H indoor exhibits at the Morgan County Fair is August 1, 2011. Leaders must pre-enter their club members exhibits online (using the link below)
2011 Key Dates for 4-H Indoor Exhibits:
- August 1: Deadline for pre-entry of all 4-H indoor exhibits
- August 1: Bring 4-H exhibits to the Exhibit Building between 3:00p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- August 2: Bring 4-H baked exhibits to the Exhibit Building between 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
- August 8: All exhibits to be picked up at Exhibit Building, no exceptions between 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
- September 9: Resubmit food items selected for state fair competition by 9:00 a.m. at Morgan 4-H office
- September 20 - All state fair exhibits, ribbons and premiums must be picked up from the 4-H office by 6 p.m

Monday, August 1: Queen Contest 9:00 a.m., Junior Rodeo 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, August 2: Wrangler Contest 10:00 a.m., Team Roping Jackpot 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 3: ATV Rodeo 17 and Under 5:30 p.m., ATV Rodeo 18 and Older 7:00 p.m.
Thursday, August 4: Mini Moto Practice 2:00 p.m., Mini Moto 6:00 p.m.
Friday, August 5: Home Town Barrels 15 and Under 7:00 p.m., RMPRA Rodeo 7:30 p.m.
