Family and Consumer Science

Family and Consumer Science goals are to enhance economic opportunities and quality of life among families and communities. FCS supports this goal by focusing on how individuals and families obtain and use resources such as money, time, human capital, material resources, and community services. We also focus on exploring the relationship between individuals and families and the larger economy as well as studying the impact of public issues, policies, and programs on family economic well-being

• I was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho
• I received my undergraduate degree in Family Finance from Utah State University and am currently working on my master's thesis studying the money management strategies of couples.
• Summer of 2009 I worked as an actress at the Playmill Theatre in West Yellowstone.  We perfrormed Footloose, Guys and Dolls and The Secret Garden.
• I enjoy all sports (particularly volleyball), scrapbooking, theatre, travel, organizing, decorating and spending time with family and friends.

I got my start in extension in 2007 working for the Cache County office.  I was employed as the graduate intern when the position came up for the hire here in Morgan.
