4-H Youth Summer Sewing Camp
Announcing the 4-H Youth Summer Sewing Camp to be held Tuesday, July 22nd in the Juab County Center Cultural Hall (our location has changed this year due to construction at the Jr. High School).
This camp is available for youth who have finished 4th-12th grades. Select Session 1 from 8 am – 12 noon, or Session 2 from 1 - 5 pm. Each 4-Her is required to bring a parent or older sibling to help them with their sewing project. For this camp youth will need to choose ONE of the projects listed: A skirt made from ‘ruffle’ fabric, leggings, pajama pants, or a pillowcase. Youth will also have the opportunity to participate in a sewing service project for local donation. There will be a resource table with samples and patterns to take home to sew independently.
Register at the USU Extension office, 160 N. Main in Nephi, 623-3450. Please bring scissors, pins, measuring tape, and seam gauge. Also bring the fabric, thread and list of needed supplies for the project chosen.
