Juab County Weed Awareness Program

On Tuesday, April 15, 2014 the annual Juab County Weed Awareness Program will be held at the Juab County Weed Department, 350 West Center Street in Nephi from 5-6:00 pm.
The purpose of the program is to make the public aware of the problem with noxious weeds and to provide herbicides to individuals who want to spray their weeds.
One pint of a concentrated broadleaf herbicide will be provided to households at no cost.  The herbicide will be in the company’s original container with the product label attached.
Only 450 pints will be available, distributed on a first come first served basis.  The herbicide must be picked up by someone 18 or older, limit one pint per household.  It is suggested that you use this product to control noxious weeds like Whitetop in your area.

The program is sponsored by Nephi and Eureka Cities, Juab County Weed Board, and USU Extension.  For more information about this program, contact the Juab County Weed Department at 681-0428 or USU Extension at 623-3450.
