Mrs. Jacobson’s 3rd grade class at Mona Elementary learned to make bread with Laurie Bates, Certified Nutritional Assistant for the Food $ense Nutrition Education Program. Pictured above are Diane Jacobson, Tamra Humphrey, and Kylan Humphrey. The F$ program is funded by USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program – SNAP and teaches how to buy and prepare nutritious foods for a better diet.
