The Juab County Fair will be held
August 4-9, 2014.
Returning members must register every year to be active in 4-H. The 4-H year goes from October 1st to September 30th. All members, new and returning, must be registered by August 5th to be able to place entries in the 4-H section of the fair. If registration is not received by August 5th, the member will have to enter items in the open class sections.
MANDATORY ONLINE EXHIBIT REGISTRATION in the "4-H Online Fair Entry" software for non-livestock entries:
Online registration is mandatory for all non-livestock fair exhibit entries. This is a simple process that will allow exhibit entry to be done at home. The system will be open for entries July 21-August 5. Detailed instructions will be on our website (extension.usu.edu/juab), and sent with the July 4-H newsletter. The exhibits can then be checked in at the fair on August 5. Individual trainings will be given upon request. You may call the office at 623-3450 for help and questions.
FAIR ENTRY CHECK-IN:
4-H Fair Entries (non-livestock) will only be received on Tuesday night, August 5th, from 7:00-9:00 pm 4-H entries will NOT be accepted on Wednesday morning, August 6th. Exception-West Desert members may check exhibits by 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Members may enter 2 projects per lot category.
2014 FAIR ENTRY SCHEDULE:
4-H enrollment deadline: Monday, 8/4
Exhibit online entry deadline: Tuesday, 8/5, 12:00 pm
Exhibit check-in: Tuesday, 8/5, 7:00-9:00 pm only
Premium and exhibit pick-up: Monday, 8/11, 6:00-8:00 pm - Multipurpose Building
Premium pick-up: Thursday 8/14, 1:00-6:00 pm - Fair Office
Visit the online registration system to get started. Leaders (parents) must log in to enter the entries for their members. If we don't have an email address on file for your family, you will need to call us and have that set up before you can log in and start entering exhibits. You can also download the training instructions from the link on the right. If participants do not have access to the internet, please contact the Extension office.
