Important note:
All 4-H activities require registration in the Extension Office before youth can attend.
There is currently no online registration.
4-H members are youth in 3rd grade and 8 years old as of January 1 of 2012.
4-H Cloverbud members are 5 years old as of January 1, 2012 and can attend select activities accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Registration information is available in our office.
For the safety of your children please do not leave them at our office without checking them in with an adult in charge of the activity. Also, be sure to check them out of the activity with an adult in charge. Thank you.

Electric Racing Team
We are looking for a few good teens!
Join us in Designing-Building-Racing Electric Vehicles
Hands-on learning in: Teamwork, Design, Mechanics, Machining, CAD CAM, Electrical, Paint/Body, Driving, and More!
From now through the race in April 2012, we w2ill Design and Construct vehicles to race in the Annual
Milford Renewable Energy Fair
Against several school teams!

We are organizing an overnight camp for families and 4-H clubs. If you would like to join our leader/youth council to help plan this event please contact Angela today. I will let you know when the first meeting will be scheduled.
Day Camp presenters. If you are interested in leading a 4-H project for 6 hours or more please contact Angela at the Extension office.
All the above service projects are eligible for Presidential Service credit and end of year Horse awards points. Please let me know if you need a signature for your hours donated.

FUTURE 4-H EVENT
i 4-H (formally known as Adventure Camp) will be held at USU Eastern in Price Utah June 11-13, 2012.
This camp is for 7th and 8th grade students. The cost will be around $100 per youth.
Volunteers Needed:
Teen Council Mentor
Meet with teens at once a month meetings. Assist with goals and achievements during the year. Assist with planning activities and events for Teens to teach. Chaperone leadership training.
LeatherWork Club Leader
If you have skills in leatherworking or are interested in learning we have youth interested in joining a 6 week leatherworking club. Meet 1 time per week and for the amount of time you choose.
Sewing Club Leader
Do you have some cool sewing skills? We are in need of a leader that would like to hold a once a week club for a minimum of 6 weeks assisting youth with sewing projects. At the end of the project some youth may be selected to enter their projects in the fair or demonstrate their skills at county contests.

Iron County 4-H volunteers, mentors and leaders are invited to a banquet at the end of the year and volunteers are recognized for their service during the year with awards and dinner.
We are in need of a volunteer(s) to teach a robotics class, cooking class, and sewing class. We also have interest in geocaching and small animals.
