Question
Q
When the calories are listed on a food product, is that "as is" being unprepared or is that prepared? For example, bacon might list a 2 slice portion at 100 calories?
Answer(s)
A
The calories listed are ready to eat. From your example, the two slices of bacon would be prepared and ready to eat for the calories listed on the label (100).
