Faculty Bio

SuzAnne Jorgensen graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS in Home Economics Education and a MS in Agriculture and Extension Education from New Mexico State University. She has served as FCS agent in Garfield County since 2003. SuzAnne served as Home Economist (Family and Consumer Sciences Agent) in Cibola County, New Mexico, for six years before joining the Washington County Extension staff in 1997. She works with local adult and youth (4-H) groups and individuals to share information on canning, food safety, nutrition, finances, small business and many other topics related to home and family. She also works with the Family Nutrition, Utah Saves, and IDA programs in Garfield County. SuzAnne helps the people of Garfield County better use the resources available to them.
