		What People, and Trees, Think About Utility Tree Pruning Learn how trees react to, and are affected by, utility tree pruning. Also, review the results of a study describing peoples' attitudes about such pruning and the people who do the pruning, and about the effects of a simple educational brochure on those attitudes. Suggestions are made for ways for utilities and tree advocates to promote good utility tree management. A short video clip also is included at the end that provides a good example of a utility helping the public understand the science and professionalism behind utility tree pruning. 		Utah’s Community Forests: Results of a Survey of Utah Towns and Cities This presentation includes highlights taken from the 2003 "Utah's Community Forests" report. Data is summarized from a study of Utah's communities where leaders were asked about their community forestry program characteristics. This talk was presented by Dr. Mike Kuhns at the annual conference of the Utah Community Forest Council-Utah Chapter ISA in Ogden, Utah, November 21, 2003.
