USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service
  Environmental Quality Incentives Program Overcoming serious threats to natural resources on private lands via technical, financial, and educational assistance.
Resource Conservation and Development Program (RC&D), Seven RC&D Areas administer the RC&D Program throughout Utah. Each RC&D Area is led by a citizens group representing official sponsoring organizations. These local leaders focus on the environmental, economic and social needs of their area by assisting sponsors with projects to enhance the quality of life.

Southwest Area Forest, Fire and Community Assistance Grants Website A website designed and developed to help explain the types of federal and state assistance grants available in the Southwestern Region (specific to Arizona and New Mexico but applicable to Utah also), what they can be used for, the eligibility requirements, the contact points and the websites for the various grants.
 
State Resources (Utah)
Utah Rural Development Council The URDC is a public/private partnership, a forum for the identification, discussion and resolution of issues affecting rural Utah, a clearing house for rural development resources, a volunteer-driven working organization, an opportunity to collaborate with public and private agencies, individuals and organizations, and an excellent networking opportunity.
Manufacturing Extension Partnership MEP provides assistance for small manufacturing businesses in Utah. It is a non-profit organization chartered with raising the level of competitiveness, performance, and profitability of Utah’s manufacturers. They can help develop strategies, access the latest technologies, and implement the newest management & manufacturing practices. The MEP leverages state and federal support, along with a network of Utah-based public and private resources to assist in providing services to manufacturers.
