AgricultureThere is a new Cattle Marketing Web Site that is put together by Dr. Dillon Feuz, USU Extension Specialist,

Duchesne County is located in the Uintah Basin which is in Eastern Utah. It has a agriculture base of mainly cattle, hay and sheep. This base includes:
· 30,651 head of beef cows
· 7,525 head of sheep
· 46,079 acres of hay
· 3,309 acres of corn
The total value of crops and livestock products produced in 2002 was $46,047,000
The USU Extension office in Duchesne County offers a wide range of materials and resources related to livestock, crops, soils, agriculture profitability, weed control, farm and ranch management, range, home horticulture, gardening, insects and water management.
