Duchesne County 4-H and Youth
What is 4-H?
4-H is FUN! 4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. Participating youth, from grades K-12, and adult volunteers and leaders “learn by doing” through opportunities in which they gain a sense of belonging within a positive group, cultivate independence with guidance from caring adults and peers, and master life challenges. More information on the state 4-H program can be found at utah4h.org. 4-H offers many learning opportunities for youth and adults in communities across the nation. Through the hands-on experiences 4-H provides, communities can increase leadership and knowledge while still having tons of fun.
Through 4-H, you can experience:
- Independence and friendships
- A sense of belonging with club members and adult volunteers
- A spirit of generosity in helping others
- And lots of opportunities to master life challenges.
