Welcome to glee DC

glee DC is a performing arts (singing, dancing, musical instruments, group skits, monologues) 4-H club in Davis County. glee DC clubs can perform in county competitions called “sectionals” twice a year and then be eligible to compete in the State Competitions.

The next sectionals competition is May 16^th at 6:30

A dress rehearsal will start at 3:00 that afternoon and we will contact you with the time slot you will be assigned.

at the Edward A. Kenley
Centennial Amphitheater
403 North Wasatch Drive
Layton, UT 84041

In case of Inclement weather we will still be at this location!!!!!!!! See you there!!

Each glee club will need to prepare 1 song to perform.

Performances need to follow the theme of HEROS

Each song performed can only be 2-3 minutes. Any club that goes over the time limit will have points taken off of final judgment.

Performances will be judged on the following criteria:

Choice of Selection (keeps in high ideals of 4-H)	10pts
Originality or Interpretation (use creativity and ingenuity to adapt songs or choreography)	10pts
Presentation and Showmanship (confidence, poise, and enjoyment of performance)	20pts
Talent (the skill in performance)	30pts
Appropriate Costume (dress and costume contributes to performance)	10pts
Audience Reception (laughter, applause or response by audience)	10pts
Entertainment Value (overall effect of performance)	10pts
Total Score	100pts

Each club must be registered by May 9^TH AT MIDNIGHT
