IFA Young Producer Program

Intermountain Farmers Association (IFA) is sponsoring a Young Producers Program to encourage young people to learn and practice correct principles of feeding and caring for animals and gardens. Any youth between the ages of 8 and 18 who is involved in gardening and/or animal care and feeding is eligible.
Participants in the program receive special discounts on feeds, supplements, animal health products and other supplies. Your IFA store or dealer can provide basic growing skills, care, and feeding information for most animal species. Everyone who completes a project will receive an IFA Young Producer gift certificate.
A project can involve a full breeding program or competitive showing, or might be as basic as caring for a pet, raising a few rabbits, or planting and tending a garden.
All that is required to enter the program is to fill in the enrollment form at your nearest IFA store. Then talk with your local IFA Young Producer Program Manager to discuss your project. Then an official membership card will be sent to you by mail and you will be eligible for all program benefits. The card is good for one calendar year, but may be renewed from one year to the next as long as you remain eligible.
