Emma Park
Emma Park
Emma Park is a beautiful area that crosses county boundaries. Carbon, Duchesne, Utah ans Wasatch Counties all share parts of the Emma Park area.
The Emma Park project started in 2006. The Skyline CWMA inventoried the weeds along with private landowners. Musk thistle and houndstongue were identified as immediate threats to the ecosystem. A spray day was immediately organized and three different biocontrols were realease in various areas. While houndstongue is not on the state noxious weeds list it may quickly become a serious problem in the Emma Park area.
