The Food Sense Nutrition Education (FSNE) program provides nutrition education to families of all types and ages who are receiving or are eligible to receive food stamps or otherwise qualify as low income. FSNE offers nutrition education through individual and family instruction in the home and in small groups. Lessons are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines and are taught by Nutrition Education Assistants employed by Utah State University Extension.
FSNE Nutrition Education Assistants will:

- Teach you how to stretch your food dollar
- Help you make wise food choices for your family
- Share recipes
- Work with you in the kitchen to prepare recipes
