Water Wise Gardening:  Wednesday, May 23, at American West Heritage Center from 6:00-7:30pm.  Come learn the benefits of and how to maintain a water-wise garden.  Bill Varga to lead this class.  This free class is sponsored by Stokes Nature Center. Alterniscape Garden Tour:  Saturday, June 23  Please join us for self-guided tour of gardens featuring native/water-wise plants, unique landscaping and gardening ideas.  You will learn ways to conserve water, and other resources while adding beauty and interest to your landscape. This year—gardens in the Central Logan area.  The tour starts at Jens Johansen Park, 850 East 100 North, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.(the gardens will be open until 4:00 p.m.); here you will pickup your tour map and where there will plants for sale, tips on growing and use of herbs,, information on bees + other displays. The cost is $5.00.         

TICKETS:  Starting on May 12 tickets maybe purchased at the Cache County Extension Office (179 N. Main Street, Suite 111, Logan) and at the Master Gardeners Booth at the Cache Valley Gardeners Market (Merlin Olsen Park, 75 South 200 East).
