Following is the PowerPoint presentation on Vegetable Gardening & Fruit Production that was given on March 31 at the Gardening class.
USU/Cache County Extension will be offering garden plots at the Cache County Community Gardens in Hyde Park. Garden plots are open to anyone. A 200-square foot plot can be leased for $30 for the entire growing season. Community gardens are especially useful to those who do not own land or do not have enough space in the yard to have an extensive garden. They also provide opportunity to become more self sufficient and learn a skill that will benefit you for a lifetime. If you are interested in participating in the community garden in 2009, contact USU/Cache County Extension at 435-752-6263.
