Western Horse Program

 Western Horse council meets the first Thursday of each month - October through April at 7:00 pm at the Cache County Extension office classroom. This meeting is for all 4-H youth, parents and leaders.  Camps, clinics, shows and other events are planned at this meeting.  Please come and participate in this meeting and get involved on a committee.  It is fun, rewarding and your opportunity to give direction to the horse program.

First Step Camp 2012 Updated Information

First Step provides an opportunity for all younger, less experienced riders to complete their Tenderfoot Ranks.  2012 First Step Camp will be held Monday, June 18.  Youth must be registered in the Horse 4-H program to attend.   More camp information and is available here.  Click here for aFirst Step Camp Application.

 

Western Horse Camp Important date change

Horse Camp is scheduled for June 11 -13, 2012 at the Cache County Fair Grounds.  All participants must be enrolled in 4-H by April 26, 2012 to participate.     Completed appications including medical history/code of conduct/photo release and Horse Camp Rules form along with Full payment and a stall deposit must be turned in to the 4-H office by 5:00 pm, April 26, 2012. Late registration will be charged a $25.00 late fee for applications recieved between April 27  and May 10.  No late applications will be accepted if camp is full or after May 10, whichever comes first..

Working Ranch Horse Program
