4-H Horse ProgramWestern Horse ProgramWestern Horse council meets the first Thursday of each month - October through April at 7:00 pm at the Cache County Extension office classroom. This meeting is for all 4-H youth, parents and leaders. Camps, clinics, shows and other events are planned at this meeting. Please come and participate in this meeting and get involved on a committee. It is fun, rewarding and your opportunity to give direction to the horse program. Western Horse Camp Western Horse Camp will be held on July 17 through July 19, 2009 at the Cache County Fair Grounds. All participants must be enrolled in 4-H by May 1st to participate. Application materials are posted below. Completed appications including medical history/code of conduct/photo release and Horse Camp Rules form must be turned in to the 4-H office by 5:00 pm, April 30. English Horse Program English Horse Camp will be held June 8-11, 2009 at the Cache County Fairground. This is an excellent opportunity for English rider to gain experience and knowledge. Applications are due by May 5. Complete applications, Medical history/Code of Conduct forms, are required. Youth seeking financial assistance should read and understand the application prior to requesting help.
Working Ranch Horse ProgramThe Working ranch program will provide an opportunity for youth and their horse to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
