4-H Shooting Sports
Cache County 4-H Shooting Sports program is broken into three categories:
- Junior: Grades 3-5, $25 (limit of 20 participants, waitlist available. If a child would like to only participate in archery or air-rifle, the cost will be $15. If they would like to participate in both, then it will be the full $25 fee.)
- Intermediate: Grades 6-8, $30
- Senior: Grades 9-12, $30 (limit of 30 participants total for the Intermediate and Senior categories, waitlist available)
Instruction and shooting will begin January 21st and will run through April 8th, 2017.
Youth must enroll in 4-H and pay $12 registration fee ($6 if registered AND registration fee is paid before January 1, 2017). Youth participating in the intermediate/senior groups must have successfully completed the Hunter Safety training program and have obtained a "blue card" (see below).
Intermediate and senior 4-H participants must provide their own ammunition for .22 rifle and shotgun (.20 or .12 gauge). Muzzleloader will be dependent on the availability of a qualified instructor.
