Greater Peachtree Borer

Tree trunks should be treated around the July 1and as often as the label recommends through Sept 1st to keep Peachtree borers out of the trunks of peach, nectarine and apricots trees.  To learn more about Greater Peachtree Borers, click here for a publication.

• Homeowners can use Sevin, Spectracide, Ortho Basic Solutions, Ortho Bug-B-Gon, Green Light Borer Killer, Hi-Yield Permethrin, Lilly Miller Multi-Purpose Insect Sprya, or Ortho Max.

• Commercial growers can use Asana, Lorsban, Thionex, and Pounce.
