Working Ranch Horse Program
The Working Ranch Horse Program teaches youth techniques in handling livestock. This includes skills in roping, sorting cattle, and fence work.  There are three age divisions: Juniors (3-5 grade), Intermediates (6-8 grade), and Seniors (9-12 grade).  Many counties put on gatherings open to all the working ranch horse youth in the state.  For more information on the Box Elder County Gathering see below.

 Test are administered at Gatherings and questions are from the following books.  All are available from the Extension Office.

The Working Ranch Horse Practical Training Guide - $7.00. 
Horse Science- $5.00
Horse and Horsemanship- $5.00

Medical Consent Form
Registration forms are due by October 21, 2011. All participants need to be registered for the current year and have a medical consent form signed on or after October 1st, 2011.

Jackpot Ranch Rodeo
Register day of the rodeo.  Registration begins at 5:30pm.  Rodeo begins at 6:30pm.
Events include Two Man Cattle Sorting and Three Man Cattle Doctoring 
Limited to 3 entries.  $10.00 entry fee per person per event.
