Drought/Conservation

Dry LandUtah is the second driest state in the nation, but has one of the highest water usage rates. On the average, Utahns use 269 gallons per capita per day as compared to the mountain states average of 241 and to the national average of 179. Only Nevadans uses more water. Drought has caused water shortages in many areas impacting homes, businesses and farms causing financial losses.
