4-H Leathercraft classes offered

Two 4-H Leathercraft classes are being offered by USU Extension 4-H.  They will begin on Thursday, October 3 and end December 5, 2013 (no class will be held on Halloween or Thanksgiving).  The first session (beginners only) will be from approximately 1:45 to 2:45 pm. and the second session (advanced levels and Mona beginners) from approximately 2:45 to 3:45 pm.  The classes will be held at the Juab County Center Cultural Hall.  The registration fee will be $6.00 and must be paid at the time of registration.  The instructor will be Verl Thomas, assisted by Judy Jensen, 4-H Staff Assistant.
 

The course will run Thursdays for eight weeks.  You may register at the USU Extension Office, 160 North Main, Nephi, 623-3450.  The class is open to interested youth 3rd through 12th grade.  Fee covers the yearly 4-H enrollment and four rounders.  Projects are available for purchase once rounders are completed.  Each session will be limited to the first 20 who sign up, which will be on a first-come-first-served basis.  The 4-H Member Registration forms for new members may be printed off at extension.usu.edu/juab/htm/4-h/forms.
