4-H Sewing Camp

We would like to invite you to attend our 4-H Sewing Camp that will be held Tuesday, June 25th in the Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS)  room of the Vocational Building directly north of the Juab Jr. High School in Nephi.

This camp is available for 4th-12th grade youth.  Times available are 8 am – 12
noon, or  1 - 5 pm.  Each 4-Her is required to bring a parent or older sibling to help them
with their sewing project.  For this camp you will need to choose ONE of the projects

listed:  Maxi Skirt, Pajama Pants, Straight Skirt, or Apron, line with ruffle.   We will also be making pin cushions.  There will be a resource table with samples and patterns to take home.  A hands-on demonstration on making loom hats for infants will be provided as a service project, and the items will be donated to Central Valley Medical Center.            Call the Extension office at 623-3450 by Monday, June 24th to register and tell us which sewing project you want to do and you will be given the list of supplies required.   Please bring your own thread, scissors, pins, measuring tape, and seam gauge.
