Commercial, non-commercial, and private applicators are required to renew their Utah license every three years. There are three options for renewing a pesticide license. The options are: (1) complete and pass the general pesticide exam and at least one category exam, (2) attend a re-certification workshop and pass at least one category, or (3) attend pesticide training programs recognized by UDAF and obtain credit for the required number of CEUs. If CEUs are used to renew a license during the year, all training forms and payment must be submitted UDAF before the end of the year.
