Juab County Extension

Welcome to Utah State University Extension in Juab County.  Extension is a cooperative program between Juab County, Utah State University and the United States Department of Agriculture and is the link between Utah State University and the citizens of Juab County. 

Our focus is to provide unbiased research-based educational programs that will enhance the quality of life for the citizens of the county. This local web site will focus on programs, services and publications available at the Juab County Extension office.

Juab Summer Intern

This position is funded by a $4000 grant provided by USU Extension starting May 1 to August 14, 2014 with flexible hours.  Applicants must be a current college student.
Short description of internship duties:  The intern will serve as an ambassador for USU Extension and 4-H in Juab County.  Intern will be administratively and programmatically responsible to county based faculty and staff to assist with 4-H/youth development, Family and Consumer Sciences, Agriculture/Horticulture, and other Extension programs and activities as needed.  Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:  create program 
flyers, invitations, and handouts using Microsoft Office, assist with promoting Extension programs through social media and other sources, assist with and provide leadership for 4-H camps, retreats, county and state contests, county fair, Teen Council leadership activities, work with advisory boards, and recruit, train, and maintain 4-H members and leaders.
